Off screen
Away from the screen, I gravitate towards things that ask me to slow down. I take photos, make ceramics and practice contemporary dance, each in its own way teaching me to look a little closer, whether at a frame, a shape or a movement.
I travel whenever I can. A bit of a cliché, I know, but I’m drawn to places that make the everyday feel unfamiliar, like the salt flats and deserts in these photos. I took every one of them.
And when I’m home, I’m usually with Sade and Tofu, my two cats.
